Day 1: Marrakesh – Gorges de Dadès 360 Km
Departure in the morning from Marrakesh for the Gorges de Dadès through the High Atlas, the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260 m) and the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (classified as a world heritage by UNESCO), visit of the kasbah. After lunch, departure for the Gorges de Dadès passing by Ouarzazate, the oasis of Skoura (passage on the track to find you near the palm grove of Skoura and its fortified villages), the valley of the roses and the road of Thousand kasbahs. Arrival will be at the end of the afternoon at the Gorges de Dadès, dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 2: Gorges de Dadès – Merzouga 283 km
After the breakfast, a walk in the valley of Boumalne Dadès then departure for the dunes of Merzouga passing by the gorges of Todra, a stroll in the gorges and in the palm grove of Tinghir. After lunch, it’s a continuation for the dunes of Merzouga through the valley of the Ziz, the valley of Tafilalt and Erfoud where the trail begins till to the dunes of Merzouga, departure in dromedary (1 h) in the desert to join the bivouac located at Dunes of Erg Chebbi, a walk through the dunes and enjoy a superb sunset at the top of Erg Chebbi (250 m), dinner and night under nomad tents.
Day 3: Merzouga – Marrakesh 560 km
After breakfast, return by dromedary to join the inn in Merzouga in order to take a shower and then leave for Marrakesh by passing via Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine, N’Kob, the Drâa valley, the old caravans route and The Anti-Atlas, lunch in Ouarzazate. In the afternoon, we’ll take the road to the High Atlas. Arrival in Marrakesh at the end of the day.
